Practice

With a basis in drawing and photography as tools of visual investigation, my practice deals with the experience of place - in particular, urban landscapes and how we locate ourselves in them. Each project is an approach to a particular environment and begins with work on site to establish a body of visual and contextual research. Resolved in the studio, the finished pieces explore physical and associative layers of the urban landscape, and their role in our creation of a sense of place.
